Inktober 2016 Day 27 - Osteoviper

Osteovipers are pretty scary. That's about all I've got.

Inktober 2016 Day 26 - Porc Axecutioner

Porc Axecutioners tend to execute whomever they find without trial or due cause or really any reason. you should avoid them.

Inktober 2016 Day 25 - Vampire Squid

Vampire Squids swim around looking for necks to bite and blood to suck. I mean, that only makes sense, right? They glazed over this fact on Octonauts.

Inktober 2016 Day 24 - Crawley Pumpkin Thing

Crawley Pumpkin Things skitter around on leg-like vines and freak people out and stuff.

Inktober 2016 Day 23 - Troll

It's a forest troll. They live in forests, see, that's why people call them that.

Inktober Day 22 - Ogre

Here's an ogre. He's probably an alright guy when he's not eating human children.

Inktober Day 21- Nautilus Swashbuckler

Ok, I blew it. Several posts ago, I said I wasn't going to do any fan art for Inktober. Well, I made myself into a gosh darn fibber, because here is a Nautilus from World of Rivals. I took part in theKickstarter campaign for their upcoming minis wargame Masters of the Deep and I'm totally enamored with it. I can't wait to play it.
In my defense, there is no swashbuckler among the Nautilus in Masters of the Deep, so this is only kinda/sorta fan art. Boom, I still win!

Inktober Day 20 - Snidely Shambles, zombie butler.

I decided I'd ride this King of the Undead horse for a little bit. This is his #1 servant, his right hand, his zombie butler Snidely Shambles. Snidely was the first undead that The King ever raised so, you know, he's special.

Inktober Day 19 - The King of the Undead

The King of the Undead! Ok, so, he's totally a Lich but- you now how some people get squeamish over the word 'moist'? He's that way about the word 'Lich'. No seriously, he HATES it.
He was a wandering minstrel back when he was alive in the usual sense. But after a few decades of dabbling in dark and forbidden magic he is now the undying King of the Undead!
He can do a ton of spells, and command zombies and ghosts and stuff, and his Sceptre of the Abhorrent makes freakish monsters like Tunnelway Terrors obey his commands. He doesn't even say "Please". Shaking my dang head.

Inktober Day 18 - The Horrible, Awful, Vile, Foul, Unpleasant TUNNELWAY TERROR!

As its name implies, this cuddly critter lurks in tunnels, caves, long stone-walled hallways and other such places acting all imposing and unpleasant.
They're extremely bitey and they like to menace people with their barbed whips and they spew a paralyzing venom and they're just best avoided.

Inktober Day 17

Hal Owen and his buddy Lurff. Horrifying, I know. Sometimes you tread through some pretty dark territory when you assign yourself the theme 'monsters' for Inktober.
What's that saying- Those who draw monsters must take care bot to become monsters themselves or something to that effect.

Inktober Day 16

A Kappa!
Alright, here's the deal, I told myself that I wasn't going to do any fan art for Inktober. But goldarn I wanted really really badly to draw some Yo-kai Watch characters and then on the 15th I went to the one day only Yo-kai Watch movie event and was all crazy over it all. Plus I'd gotten a Kappa figure for Ninja All Stars from Soda Pop Miniatures. So because of all this, I drew a Kappa. That's really all I wanted to tell you.

Inktober Day 15

The horrible Dentula!
Ok, funny story. Kind of long.
Back in the day, a friend of mine and I spent a lot of our time making comics about dental floss dispenser creatures who were at war with dinosaurs.
I guess it wasn't a funny story, nor was it very long, but it WAS a story. Plus, it was true, so there's that.
So anyhoo, in my current head cannon, The Dentula here is the leader of the Dentok forces, heck-bent on destroying the dinosaur armies of Earth and ruling the world from 900 kabillion B.C.

Inktober Day 14

Durdee Rat meets Frankenstein's Mouser! RUN, DURD!

Inktober Day 13

Inktober Day 13- a bi-cranial ogre. Don't be fooled by the sincere and pleasant look on the helmeted head's face, this guy is a total jerk.

Inktober Day 12

I know they're usually weird chickeny or snake things with more legs than necessary, but in my world this is a basilisk. Also in my world, they don't kill you or turn you to stone with a stare. They can paralyze you with a glare, but there is debate among scholars about whether it's some sort of supernatural force causing this or if it's just the basilisk's strength of will.

Inktober Day 11 - Naga

This naga wants you to leave her alone.

Inktober Day 10

It's an eyeball monster. I've just decided while typing this that it's called a Glimpset.
They're pretty vicious in the wild, but if raised from an egg they can be domesticated and make good guard monsters but you have to get notarized, written permission to raise one from a local druidic order or ranger guild. This is no joke, y'all.

Inktober Day 9

It's the Jersey Devil! Classy, J-Dev. Classy.

Inktober Day 8

It's a horror movie for cats. Because they tend to dislike the vacuum cleaner, you see.

Inktober Day 7

So I was watching Marvel's Agents of SHIELD: Ghost Rider and decided that if I were to host the Spirit of Vengeance, we'd probably look something like this.

Inktober Day 6

Inktober day 6. This cat beast monster thingy got the beat. I hope he's got plenty of size D batteries as well.

Inktober day 5

The Manananggal is a cryptid who is thought to live in the Philippines... and, I guess, in this very blog!. EEEEEK!

Inktober Day 4

Did I mention that I assigned myself the theme "monsters" for Inktober this year? Because I have.
And sometimes, monsters work in coffee shops.

Inktober Day 3

This monster is all thumbs. Har har.

Inktober 2016 Day 2 - A Valravn

© 2016 PlummyPress

A teenage Valravn. I think it's safe to assume they're speed freaks.

Inktober 2016 day 1

Inktober 2016 is here! I've assigned myself the theme One Monster After Another because that's the title of my favorite book ever. Mercer Meyer for president!
