Chee Z. Petey's Pizza (An affiliate of McEatie Petey's Family Restaruants) is holding open auditions for animatronic performers. This robot, based very heavily on Science Girl's Ediebots, looks to have a good shot at the job.

Photoshop textures
I've been learning to make textures for applying to 3d models via Photoshop. Here's what I've done thus far:
Look! I used it to make a sewer! Totally NOT in 3D!

Storyboard - Ruthie's Dream page 02 - 04
This was a school project. Using character designs I'd made working
from Tom Bancroft's book "Creating Characters with Personality" http://www.amazon.com/Creating-Characters-Personality-Animation-Graphic/dp/0823023494/ref=la_B001IXMGIM_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1396363550&sr=1-1
I storyboarded a scene in which the dog Ruthie, who is head-over-paws
in love with our hero, Dillon, has a dream that she is human. Human
Ruthie goes to the town social where she plans to come between Dillon
and Ruthie's owner, Polly. I was allowed to fill in the details of the
scene as I chose.

Irish Fairie Art Show
We're having an Irish Fairies and Folklore Art Show at school starting early March. Here are my two entries for the exhibit, The Grogoch and The Puca.
Both were done in Illustrator, as the powers that be decree'd that we would use a flat-ish vectory style. Google Grogoch and Puca for more info on these fairies.

Background and scenery!
While we can all agree that every aspect of my art needs improvement, I have a sudden and specific interest in improving my backgrounds and overall scenery drawing skills. Here's some practice I did to usher in the new year:
